CMEF - Council of Microfinance Equity Funds
The Council of Microfinance Equity Funds (CMEF) is the first membership organization to bring together the leading private entities that make equity investments in the microfinance industry. The CMEF serves as a valued forum for microfinance equity investors who are pursuing double-bottom line goals. By helping Council members deepen their relationships with their investee MFIs, enhance the performance of their investments and develop best practices and standards, the CMEF aims to ultimately strengthen the microfinance industry.
COPEME (Perù)
The “Consorcio de organizaciones privadas de promociòn al desarrollo de la micro y pequeña empresa” is a non-profit organization whose mission is to run projects and activities aimed at the development of the micro and small enterprises sector in Perù. Since 1998 COPEME is providing technical assistance and consultancy services to a wide range of peruvian MFIs through a dedicated functional unit (Iniciativa Microfinanzas).
Microfinanza Rating (Italy)
Microfinanza Rating is a private independent rating agency, specialized in microfinance and rural finance with headquarters in Italy (Milan) and local offices in Latin America (Quito - Ecuador and Managua - Nicaragua), Central Asia (Bishkek - Kyrgyzstan) and Africa (Nairobi - Kenya). Microfinanza Rating offers a variety of products which meet the needs of different stakeholders: microfinance rating, social performance rating, pre-rating services which include diagnostic and mini-assessment usually for smaller and less developed MFIs, and services for investors, including monitoring and investment advisory reports.
ECPI (Italy)
ECPI is a company dedicated to sustainability Research, Rating and Indices and has been active in integrating Intangible Value/Non-traditional Risk Factor Research i.e. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) with mainstream quantitative financial analysis since 1997. ECPI is part of Mittel SpA, Milan-based holding company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange.
