Brescia, 31st of March 2009 MicroVentures has invested USD 3.7 million in the equity of Sahayata Microfinance, young and promising organization active since 2007 in the State of Rajasthan. In march 2009 Sahayata was disbursing microloans to about 37.000 client women. The equity increase will be used to implement a growth plan that should allow the MFI to serve more than 150.000 clients by march 2010. MicroVentures will actively participate to the strategic planning through the presence of a representative in the Board of Directors.
