The MicroVentures Network

MicroVentures has evolved into an international network of independent initiatives, providing financial products, technical assistance and support to MFIs and other institutions focusing on market-based solutions for social development.

In the course of the first three years the MicroVentures project has evolved into an international network of independent initatives, spread over different countries.

Today the MicroVentures Network is active in providing financial products to MFIs such as direct participation into equity, debt financing or hybrid instruments, as well as technical assistance and support to other institutions focusing on market-based solutions for social development.

The MicroVentures Network counts today with the following affiliate organizations:

MicroVentures Italy
(MicroVentures SpA, Brescia Italy)
Private Equity initiative, owner of the MicroVentures brand, acting as service hub for the network.

MicroVentures India
(MV Microfin Pvt Ltd, Bangalore India)
Provides debt financing for MFIs in India and consultancy to network members on investments opportunities in Asia.

MicroVentures Luxembourg
(MicroVentures Investment SCA SICAR, Luxembourg)
Provides equity and debt financing for MFIs in South Asia, South-East Asia and Latin America. Represents an investment opportunity designed for both private and institutional investors.

MicroVentures Latin America
(MicroVentures Latin America SAC, Lima Perù)
Provides consultancy to network members on investment opportunities in Latin America.

FEM
(Associazione FEM Italia Onlus, Brescia Italy)
FEM's mission is to promote the social development of poor women in emerging countries through the development of market-based solutions which could enhance their economic role.
